San Juan de Ortega - Burgos (EN)

David dragam, would you mind translating the Hungarian post? Only 8 minutes left and the guy next to me is reading out loud what he's reading and i can't concentrate :P Oh, and i'm knackered.
The morning was lovely, the most beautifulest sunrise from the hills and i was walking with a Hungarian guy - it was nice for a change and he was good to walk with. Then i saw a spiral made of stones and i wanted to walk through it, so our ways separated. After this the climb up and down the hills was still nice, until i could see Burgos and the stinky smog cloud above it :( I questioned if i want to go in at all and i wish i could walk more, out of this place but the beginning of the city was so hard that i have to take a break. We had to walk on the road first, then on the pavement next to a busy road, stores, factories, car wash places on the side and it went on and on and on... For at least 2 hours. Then after a while there were no more stores to the side but a forest, behind the fence!! I felt like being in a cage, i'm locked in the inside and the world is outside.
I am too tired to walk another 6-8 kms (with this speed it's another 3 hours) so stopped in the albergue municipal.

I wanted to add to the dog day that i also saw an albino dog and two shephard dogs with a shephard and a flock of sheep, so that was indeed a lot of interesting dogs for one day :)
Otherwise there are many-many cats and lizards everywhere :)

Surely i have a lot more to say, maybe one day i'll go to a library again for ONE FULL HOUR :) Oh and internet is not a problem, i still don't feel like i'm in civilization too much :P

  2. Yeah, one would wish that the Camino was a nature walk only, but those industries are ALWAYS in the way! (Although I am sure that Nils would have loved to go on an "Industry-Camino" hehe... I hope there isnt one, else we would surely have to go! hehe ).
I hope you get more nature in the next days! :)))

  3. cheers :)
hm, the camino is a metaphor to life really, you get used to something, then it changes and anyway, it's not always romantic, beautiful scenery, you have to go through the rough part too :)
