Mai kedvencek / today's favourites (kepekkel / with pictures)

5 lany elment haza, 6 meg elhuzott delnek, strandolni meg balnakat nezni (ez jo program lehet, en majd eszak-keletre megyek ugyanezt csinalni remelhetoleg), es egyedul vagyok a hazban. A hazban dolgozo emberek itt vannak, takaritanak, viztarolokat szerelnek es ugy altalaban nagyon kedvesek, szoval nem vagyok egyedul egyedul. Ez a mai kedvenc elmenyem :D

5 girls left today and 6 went down South to the amazing beaches and to watch whales (which is a great programme, I would like to do the same to the North-East one weekend) and I am by myself today in the house. Apart from the staff clearing and cleaning the house, installing water tanks and being generally their lovely selves so I am not lonely at all. This is my favourite thing today :D

Egy masik az, hogy egy beteg, akinek iszonyu idegfajasai voltak szerdan es akit en kezeltem, allitolag tegnap fajdalommentes volt (en tegnap kirandulni voltam, igy nem talalkoztunk) es nagyon boldog, vegre tudott aludni es a kedvenc fiziom a csapatbol nagyon buszke volt ram. Ez az asszony egyebkent mar inkabb barat nekem itt, nem csak kollega.

Another great news is that a patient I treated on Wednesday with severe nerve pain came in to the clinic yesterday (when I was off so I didn't meet him) and was very happy and painfree and could finally sleep. One of the physios from the team, who is more like a friend to me now than merely a colleague told me the news with a great smile and was very proud of me.

Egy "i love you" falfirka, amirol nem keszult kep. A sri lankai kamaszokbol nem az buggyan ki, hogy "hulye tamil" vagy "takarodj", hanem az, hogy "szeretlek" :)
And an "i love you" tagging on the wall (no picture unless i find it again). Sri Lankan teenagers are apparently not compelled to say "go home" or "i hate Tamils" but they just need to let the world know that they love someone :)

Az atmeneti zuhany, a kertbol bevezetett slag (mert uj viztarolokat tettek be es nem volt eleg viz a zuhanyhoz meg, de csinaltak nekem egyet):

Holnap elkirandulok valahova (meg nem dontottem el 100%-osan, hogy Nuwara Eliya vagy Haputale lesz-e a nyero) busszal, vasarnap pedig egy nagyon kedves betegem elhivott egy csaladi buddhista ceremoniara, ugyhogy oda megyek.

Tomorrow I will go on a day trip by bus (I haven't decided if I go to Nuwara Eliya or Haputale) and for Sunday I have been invited to the family event, a Buddhist ceremony, by one of my lovely patients, so that's where I'm going.
